Job summary

UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our radiology team onsite with full-time, part-time, or per diem options.

The role centers on light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department and outpatient work, with weekday dayshifts. Completion of IR residency/fellowship and NC licensure are required, with opportunities for a generous rural incentive for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
• Eligible for or ability to obtain North Carolina medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Will perform light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department, as well as outpatient work.
• Monday through Friday - dayshift hours only; on-site coverage at Caldwell and some days at the mammography center.
