Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting Interventional Radiologists to provide onsite services at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Shifts are typically Mon-Fri, 7am-4:00pm. We offer full-time and locum tenens positions with generous compensation packages.

Board-certified radiologists with active US licenses and DEA registration are required. Candidates must meet VA and federal background standards and be able to work onsite in Texas.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology.
• Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• NPI number (printout).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active DEA license.
• Must pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Provide direct patient care (~90% of time).
• Review consults and next-day cases for at least two hours daily.
• Determine treatment plans and communicate with referring providers.
• Post-procedure evaluations, follow-up care, and complication management.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient education.
• Document care in VA electronic health record.
• Participate in on-call coverage during non-business hours.
• Respond to phone consultations within 15 minutes.
• Arrive onsite within 60 minutes for urgent needs.

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Interventional Radiologists to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center located at 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78229. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 7am-4:00pm. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available. Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Interventional Radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, biopsies, drain placements, angiography, thrombectomy procedures, embolization procedures, dialysis access procedures, catheter placements, nephrostomy procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other image-guided procedures.
• Provide direct patient care, accounting for approximately 90% of work time.
• Review consults, orders, and next-day patient cases for a minimum of two hours daily.
• Determine appropriate treatment plans and communicate recommendations to referring providers.
• Perform post-procedure evaluations, follow-up care, and complication management.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient education.
• Ensure communication of test results in accordance with VA policy.
• Document all care within the VA electronic health record.
• Participate in on-call coverage during non-business hours.
• Respond to phone consultation requests within 15 minutes.
• Arrive onsite within 60 minutes when called back for urgent clinical needs

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
• Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• NPI report printout
• Must maintain active AHA BLS and ACLS
• Active DEA license
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
