Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting Interventional Radiologists to provide onsite services at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Shifts are generally Mon-Fri, 7am–4:00pm.

Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available. The role encompasses a full range of IR procedures, direct patient care, consultation review, treatment planning, post-procedure follow-up, on-call coverage, and timely communication within VA policies.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology is required.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• DEA license is required.
• Maintain active BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Provide direct patient care for the majority of work time.
• Review consults and next-day patient cases for planning.
• Determine and communicate treatment plans to referring providers.
• Perform post-procedure evaluations and follow-up care.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient education.
• Document care in the VA electronic health record.
• Participate in on-call coverage during non-business hours.
• Respond to phone consultations within 15 minutes.
• Arrive onsite within 60 minutes when called for urgent needs.
