Job summary

Stony Brook University Hospital's Radiology Department seeks an Interventional Radiologist to join a growing team at a Level 1 trauma center with a broad referral base. The role includes performing complex IR procedures, academic appointment with Renaissance School of Medicine, and opportunities to teach residents, fellows and medical students.

The selected candidate will work with an IR division, IR PA, and IR Nurse Practitioner, with potential for leadership and research roles, and a pathway

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent with NYS licensure (eligible). Board Certified (eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at an ACGME-accredited institution.
• Preferred: Training and experience in VIR and Diagnostic Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of challenging IR procedures.
• Hold an academic appointment with Renaissance School of Medicine to teach residents, fellows and medical students.
• Collaborate with IR team including IR Physician Assistant and IR Nurse Practitioner; opportunities for leadership and research.
