Detroit Medical Center is expanding its Interventional Radiology program at Huron Valley Hospital in Commerce Township, MI, offering a mix of interventional and diagnostic work with a collaborative team of IR physicians and PAs. The role emphasizes high-quality, service-oriented IR care and involvement in teaching residents and students.

The candidate will join an on-site IR team, participate in a 8 AM–4 PM schedule, and contribute to call rotations while benefiting from a generous signing bonus

Interventional Radiologist — Detroit Medical Center - Enhanced Signing Bonus

Detroit Medical Center Radiology is expanding its Interventional Radiology program under new clinical leadership focused on strengthening service lines, improving patient access, and supporting increasing procedural demand. We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join a collaborative, growing team serving Huron Valley Hospital located in Commerce Twp, MI. As the program continues to develop, the ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a mix of interventional and diagnostic radiology.

What You Will Do:

• Perform a wide range of interventional procedures including:
• Vascular
• Non-vascular
• Oncology
• Women’s health
• MSK and spine
• Emergency interventions
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and emergency medicine teams.
• Focus on providing high quality interventional radiology care with a service-oriented approach
• Join a growing Interventional Radiology team currently consisting of 5 Interventional Radiologists and 4 IR Physician Assistants

Details Include:

• On site based out of Huron Valley Hospital
• 8 AM – 4 PM Monday – Friday
• Mix of IR and diagnostic work as we continue to grow our IR program
• Currently 4 5 interventional radiologists and 4 Physician Assistants supporting IR
• Participation in IR call rotation for the DMC hospitals
• Participation in resident and medical student teaching
• Schedules posted 90 days in advance for predictable work-life balance

Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Breast and Women’s Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology. IR is supported by four Physician Assistants.

Where You Will Practice:

• Huron Valley–Sinai Hospital — (Primary location) Level III trauma; community hospital setting.
• Harper University Hospital — Level I trauma; tertiary academic center.
• Detroit Receiving Hospital — Level I trauma; primary adult trauma center.
• Sinai-Grace Hospital — Level II trauma; high-volume community and trauma site.
• Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) Specialty rehabilitation.
