Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Commitment to at least two shifts a month.

Performs basic and intermediate interventional radiologic procedures.

Operates angiographic equipment to perform diagnostic procedures such as biopsy, para/thoracentesis, abscess drainages, peripheral vascular stenting, catheter placement, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization.

Acts as a scrub assistant on basic interventional and surgical procedures under the guidance of physicians.

Monitors patient status, alerts staff of emergencies, and assists in emergency procedures including defibrillation and CPR.

Ensures image quality, processes images, and maintains accurate labeling and documentation.

Maintains records per regulatory standards and enters patient and study data into the radiology information system, including billing codes.

Performs patient positioning and transport duties, utilizing proper techniques.

Scheduled Hours:

Includes call rotation on weeknights and weekends.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Radiographer license issued by Wisconsin
• Registered Technologist (RT) with ARRT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months, unless exempted

Degrees:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program beyond high school.

Pay Range:

$34.90 - $52.35
