Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist PRN to perform ionizing radiation procedures and manage angiographic equipment. You will develop films, uphold ALARA standards, and collaborate with radiology staff.

The role includes support for the main Radiology Department during high workload periods and requires occasional on-call availability. The ideal candidate will be a Florida-licensed radiologic technologist with ARRt (R) certification, an associate degree,

Qualifications

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• 1 - 3 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs ionizing radiation procedures to detect pathology.
• Regulates angiographic equipment for special procedures and develops films.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards.
• Establishes and maintains professional rapport with staff and medical personnel.
• Supports main Radiology Department when workload warrants; position requires call.

Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff. Supports main Radiology Department when workload warrants. Position requires call.
