Job summary

The Vascular Experts in Darien, CT seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support interventional vascular procedures. The role requires operating a C-arm fluoroscope, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting physicians during invasive imaging in the angiosuite.

Candidates should have ARRT RT(R) credentialing and Connecticut license, with experience in vascular imaging and ALARA practices. BLS is required; ACLS preferred, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative clinical

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT RT(R) credentialing and CT licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification by date of hire.
• Experience with vascular imaging procedures preferred.
• ACLS certification by date of hire (desired).

Responsibilities

• Set, adjust, and operate a C-arm fluoroscope to perform radiographic examinations.
• Minimize patient and occupational exposure using ALARA principles.
• Assist physicians in invasive vascular imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and families; knowledge of angiosuite exams.
• Operate and maintain angiosuite equipment: ultrasound, DSA, cine, contrast injector, IVUS, atherectomy devices.
• Maintain sterile technique as scrub or circulator.
• Know products used in lab and prep equipment; communicate needs to physicians.
• Post-process radiographic images and manage PACs.
• Inventory management and procedure prep coordination.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
