Job summary

Powers Health in Indiana seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Hybrid Endovascular team. The role supports neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patients, with a strong focus on stroke care at a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

The technologist will assist physicians with complex procedures, operate radiographic equipment to high professional standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT certified school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration and Indiana radiologic license.
• 1 year radiography experience preferred.
• Cardiac Catheterization/Interventional Radiology Lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of angiographic procedures and sterile technique.

Job description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will function as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team. This team primarily serves the neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patient population. A large portion of this position is focused on the stroke patient, and the hospital’s designation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The technologist should be able to assist the physician with complex vascular interventional procedures, proficiently operate radiologic equipment while adhering to the professional standards required, and function well as member of a team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an A.R.R.T. certified school of radiological technology. Must be ARRT registered. Must have a license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana. One year of experience in general radiography preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology Lab of Special Imaging preferred. Previous experience with implantable devices is preferred. Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and sterile techniques. CPR certification. Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course.
