Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and imaging studies, while handling post-processing and patient care with age-appropriate protocols. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA-approved or JRCERT-accredited program, hold ARDMS/ARRT registration, and have BCLS; ARRT VI/CI certification is preferred for

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited program.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered credential required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire; advance ARRT VI/CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing functions and maintains patient care standards.
• Follows established protocols and tailors care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Radiologic Technology program (AMA approved or JRCERT accredited)

BCLS - Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
