Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography and GI studies, with post-processing and patient care responsibilities. The role requires ARRT/ARDMS registration upon hire and BCLS certification.

No prior experience is required, and VI/CI certification is preferred to support advanced interventional imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registration upon Hire; BCLS required; VI/CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies; conducts modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related recordkeeping; ensures adherence to established protocols.
• Adheres to protocols suitable for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations in diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
