Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography and venography, with post-processing and patient care duties. The role requires ARRT or ARDMS registration on hire and BCLS certification.

Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT-accredited program is required; advanced ARRT AV/CI certification is preferred. No prior experience is necessary, and the position is on-site in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration on hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support on hire.
• Advanced Certification by ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and maintains records; follows protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
