Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and venography, with post-processing and patient care responsibilities. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, BCLS, and adherence to age-specific protocols.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated radiology team, maintain required certifications upon hire, and provide quality imaging to support patient outcomes at Piedmont Athens

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• Maintain ARRT/ARDMS license and BCLS upon hire; VI/CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) and modality-assisted drainage/biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing and documentation.
• Ensures adherence to protocols across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
