Job summary

Powers Health seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Hybrid Endovascular team. The role supports neuro-endovascular and vascular patients, with a strong emphasis on stroke care at a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

The technologist assists physicians and operates radiologic equipment to high professional standards, thriving in a collaborative team environment. Required ARRT certification and Indiana radiologic license, plus ARRT registration.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified school graduate; ARRT-registered; Indiana license to operate radiologic equipment.
• 1 year general radiography experience preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization or Interventional Radiology Lab is preferred; implantable devices knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex vascular interventional procedures.
• Proficiently operate radiologic equipment and maintain sterile technique; work as part of a team.

Job description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will function as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team. This team primarily serves the neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patient population. A large portion of this position is focused on the stroke patient, and the hospital’s designation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The technologist should be able to assist the physician with complex vascular interventional procedures, proficiently operate radiologic equipment while adhering to the professional standards required, and function well as member of a team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Graduate of an A.R.R.T. certified school of radiological technology. Must be ARRT registered. Must have a license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana. One year of experience in general radiography preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology Lab of Special Imaging preferred. Previous experience with implantable devices is preferred. Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and sterile techniques. CPR certification. Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course.
