Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology preferred

  • NH Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License required
  • Registered Technologist [ARRT-R] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • BLS required
  • Experience with imaging techniques including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound

Responsibilities

  • Conducts various diagnostic imaging procedures, including angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures
  • Prepares the patient for procedures, explains the process, and positions the patient appropriately for optimal imaging results
  • Operates specialized imaging equipment to capture images of the patient's internal structures
  • Ensures equipment is functioning, maintains sterile environment, and safety protocols
  • Works closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and other physicians during procedures
  • Monitors patient vital signs and responds to discomfort or emergencies
