Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound in close collaboration with physicians to ensure accurate, safe results. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, and maintain image quality and patient comfort.

The role requires NH licensure, ARRT-R certification, BLS, and a solid foundation in anatomy and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• NH Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT-R registration required.
• BLS required.
• Experience with imaging techniques including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, especially cardiovascular and interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

• Conducts diagnostic imaging procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures.
• Prepares patients for procedures, explains the process, and positions the patient for optimal imaging results.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
• Ensures equipment safety, sterility, and environmental safety.
• Collaborates with radiologists, cardiologists, and physicians during procedures.
• Monitors patient vital signs and responds to discomfort or emergencies.
