Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound in close collaboration with physicians to ensure accurate, safe results. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • NH Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • ARRT-R registration required.
  • BLS required.
  • Experience with imaging techniques including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, especially cardiovascular and interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts diagnostic imaging procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures.
  • Prepares patients for procedures, explains the process, and positions the patient for optimal imaging results.
  • Operates imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Ensures equipment safety, sterility, and environmental safety.
  • Collaborates with radiologists, cardiologists, and physicians during procedures.
  • Monitors patient vital signs and responds to discomfort or emergencies.

Offers full-time benefits and a $20k sign on bonus!Summary: Responsible for performing specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using imaging techniques such as X-rays, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. This role works closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure accurate and safe procedures for patients.Does this position require Patient Care?
