Job summary

Albany Medical College seeks an Interventional Pulmonologist to join its Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The role includes outpatient and inpatient care, education, research, and quality improvement in a major academic medical center.

Responsibilities cover advanced bronchoscopy (EBUS, navigational/robotic/rigid bronchoscopy), pleural procedures, and collaboration with thoracic surgery, oncology, radiology, and pathology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Pulmonary with AABIP board certification or eligible.
• Experience with advanced bronchoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with complex pulmonary and airway disorders.
• Perform advanced bronchoscopy including EBUS, navigational, robotic, rigid bronchoscopy, airway stenting, and tumor debulking.
• Evaluate and manage complex pleural disease and perform pleural procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate/mentor residents, fellows, students, and APPs.
