Job summary

Edward Hospital, part of Endeavor Health, is seeking an Interventional Procedures Technologist III for a full-time role in Naperville. You will assist physicians in diagnostics and invasive procedures, prepare equipment and patients, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced cath lab.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 depending on experience, four 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri 7am–5:30pm, with 8–10 on-call days per month, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CPR – Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostics and invasive procedures; prepare equipment and patients and attend to patient needs per policies.
• Clean and prepares a variety of sterile and non-sterile equipment, catheters, troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.47 - $58.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights: Sign on bonus: $15,000 (new grads or less than 1 year of Cath Lab experience) - $20,000 (requires 1+ year of Cath Lab Tech experience)

Full Time/Part Time: Full time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am – 5:30pm (Four 10 hour shifts/wk. Rotating days off.)

On-call: 8-10 days/month, rotating

What you will do

• Assists physician in conducting diagnostics and/or invasive procedures by preparing equipment and patients for procedures, and attending to patients' needs according to established policies and procedures.
• Cleans and prepares a variety of sterile and non-sterile equipment, catheters and the like, and troubleshoots equipment to ensure same is working properly.

What you will need

• IEMA ARRT CPR – BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
• CPR – ACLS – must obtain within 12 months of start date
