Job summary

Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL seeks an Interventional Procedures Technologist for the Cath Lab to assist physicians during diagnostics and invasive procedures. You will prepare equipment, assist patients, and ensure workflows align with established policies and patient safety standards.

Your role includes cleaning and preparing sterile and non-sterile equipment, troubleshooter for devices, and supporting the care team to maintain efficient procedure flow. On-call is optional with PRN hours.

Qualifications

• IEMA certification or eligibility required.
• ARRT certification or eligibility required.
• CPR – BLS required; CPR – ACLS to be obtained within 12 months of start date.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $38.96 - $60.39 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Interventional Procedures Technologist, Cath Lab
• Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
• Hours: PRN, as needed
• Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 7am – 5:30pm (Four 10 hour shifts/wk. Rotating days off.)
• On-call: Optional

What you will do:

• Assists physician in conducting diagnostics and/or invasive procedures by preparing equipment and patients for procedures, and attending to patients' needs according to established policies and procedures.
• Cleans and prepares a variety of sterile and non-sterile equipment, catheters and the like, and troubleshoots equipment to ensure same is working properly.

• IEMA
• ARRT
• CPR – BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
• CPR – ACLS – must obtain within 12 months of start date
