Job summary

Ideal candidates have 1+ year Cath Lab or Critical Care experience, current IL RN license, BLS, and a commitment to on-call coverage including

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Illinois.
• BLS certification required.
• New Graduate RNs starting on or after 1/1/25 must earn BSN within 3 years of start date.
• 1 year Cath Lab or 2 years Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans prior to interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by administering meds and monitoring.
• Monitor vital signs and document observations and interventions.
• Coordinate care with physicians, technologists, and the health team.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care.
• Promote patient experience and safety; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Be flexible and available for on‑call shifts, including nights/weekends.
