Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Illinois RN license; BLS required.
• TNCC/TNS within 18 months; ENPC within 24 months.
• ECRN credential required to answer EMS radio.
• PALS & ACLS within first year; CPI within first year.
• New grad RNs must earn BSN within 3 years from start.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans with families and team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by provider.
• Monitor vitals and patient responses; adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team; participate in discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families; provide culturally sensitive care.
