Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join the interventional pain management team. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations during precision pain procedures, while upholding strict radiation safety and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required.
• Valid X-RAY Tech license by the State of NY.
• OHS Annual Assessment & OHS Fit Test Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations during pain management interventional procedures with minimal supervision.
• Uses ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Maintains room turnaround time and cleanliness of the clinical area.
• Prepares patient and procedure room; enters data and labels correctly.
• Obtains high-quality radiographic images with proper exposure factors and patient IDs.
• Maintains accurate records of films, fluoro time and other documentation.
• Observes radiation safety and patient identifications rules.
• Assists physicians with preparation of contrast materials and injection equipment.
• Trains students and associates with accurate information.
• Ensures safety of the assigned clinical area and performs related tasks.
