Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our interventional pain management team. You will perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations during pain management procedures in collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT credential required.
• Valid New York State X-Ray Tech license required.
• OHS Annual Assessment and OHS Fit Test required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations during pain management interventional procedures.
• Obtains high-quality radiographic images by selecting exposure factors and proper patient labels.
• Maintains accurate records of films, fluoroscopy time, and other documentation.
• Assists physicians with contrast materials, syringes and injection equipment.
• Trains students and other staff, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Ensures cleanliness, safety, and orderly operation of the clinical area.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required

Valid NY X-Ray Tech license

OHS Annual Assessment & OHS Fit Test Required
