Job summary

PartnerCare in Murphy, North Carolina seeks a Physician specializing in spine and musculoskeletal interventions to deliver advanced pain management care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans, including medications, nerve blocks, and non-surgical therapies.

Active medical license, BLS/ACLS, and a pain management fellowship are required with 4–7 years post-graduate training.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• 4–7 years of post-graduate training including internship and residency.
• Pain management fellowship completion required or in process.
• Board certification/eligibility with interventional radiology subspecialty preferred.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary pain management care and supervise providers as needed.
• Evaluate patients for medical concerns through exams and histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans including medications, nerve blocks, and other therapies.
• Maintain thorough electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and experience.
