Job summary

PartnerCare—Florida Spine & Pain Center is seeking a Physician specializing in spine and musculoskeletal interventions to provide advanced pain management and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at our Pembroke Pines location.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, completed a Pain Management Fellowship, and is trained to perform interventional procedures, manage chronic pain, and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and APPs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required with active license.
• 4–7 years of post-graduate training including internship and residency.
• Completion of Pain Management Fellowship or in process.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABPMR, ABA, or ABR with Interventional Radiology subspecialty preferred.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary pain management care.
• Evaluate patients through physical examinations and histories.
• Determine and implement treatment plans including medications, nerve blocks, and other therapies.
• Order diagnostic radiology exams and laboratory studies.
• Perform interventional procedures in outpatient settings.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes and health promotion.
• Provide adaptive tools to improve patient functioning.
