Job summary

PartnerCare is seeking a Physician specializing in spine and musculoskeletal pain management to join our Asheville practice. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced, evidence-based care, including interventional procedures and comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
• 4-7 years post-graduate training including internship and residency required.
• Completion of a Pain Management Fellowship or ACGME-accredited fellowship required or in process.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABPMR, ABA, or ABR with Interventional Radiology Subspecialty preferred.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary pain management care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluate patients through physical examinations and histories.
• Determine and implement treatment plans including medications, nerve blocks, and other therapies.
• Order diagnostic radiology exams and laboratory studies.
• Perform interventional procedures in outpatient or ambulatory settings.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes and health promotion.
• Provide adaptive tools to improve overall health and functioning.
