Job summary

Nexus HR in San Mateo, CA is seeking a skilled Pain Management Physician to join a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive care for patients with chronic and work-related injuries. The role focuses on medical management, interventional therapies, and patient education.

You will work with a collaborative group to craft individualized treatment plans, perform procedures such as injections and nerve blocks, and ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in pain management or related field.
• MD or DO from accredited medical school.
• Valid, unrestricted California medical license.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or PM&R preferred.
• Experience with interventional pain procedures and patient evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with various pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including medications and interventions.
• Perform injections, nerve blocks, and other interventional techniques.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and regulatory compliance.
• Educate patients and families about options, prognosis, and pain management.
