Job summary

Nexus HR in Pinole, CA is seeking a Pain Management Physician to join a multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing comprehensive pain care for patients with chronic and work-related injuries.

The candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, including medications and interventional therapies, working closely with therapists and other clinicians to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Must hold a valid and unrestricted California medical license.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred.
• Proficiency in interventional pain procedures, patient evaluation, and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, neuropathic, and post-surgical pain.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Perform pain management procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, and other interventional techniques as appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with physical therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to pain management.
• Manage patients’ records accurately and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, prognosis, and pain management strategies.

Compensation: $350K - $400K Annually, DOE

Nexus HR is looking for a skilled and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join a multidisciplinary team serving patients in Pinole, CA. This role focuses on providing comprehensive pain care, including management of chronic and work-related injuries.

About the Job

The physician will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, interventional therapies, and patient education. This role is ideal for a candidate who is committed to improving patient outcomes and has expertise in managing complex pain cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, neuropathic, and post-surgical pain.
