Nexus HR is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established pain management practice in San Jose, CA. The NP will manage a diverse patient population, including workers’ compensation and Medicare patients, providing diagnostic evaluations and interventional pain management procedures to develop tailored care plans.

The role emphasizes patient-first care, collaboration with physicians, and ongoing professional development in evidence-based pain management guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience in pain management.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program.
• Current California NP license.
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience with workers’ compensation cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services under physician supervision.
• Develop long-term, patient-specific care plans.
• Interview and examine patients; review histories.
• Treat musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and pain disorders.
• Order and interpret imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT).
• Document patient care on the day of service.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing education.
