The role emphasizes biopsychosocial pain care, opioid risk management, and adherence to VA guidelines, with duties spanning evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, procedures, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in pain management.
• Experience with interprofessional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical examinations and functional evaluations for Veterans referred to the Pain Clinic.
• Establish pain diagnoses and develop integrated treatment plans with the team.
• Perform interventional pain procedures including fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided injections.
• Provide inpatient Chronic Pain consultative services and medication management for chronic pain.
