Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient pain medicine practice. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, ordering and reviewing tests, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates bring NC licensure, national certification, and current BLS. The position offers a daytime M-F schedule with no weekends or holidays and a collaborative, team-based work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NC licensure or eligibility to practice in NC.
• National certification as NP or PA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and lab results.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and agreements.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
