Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Neuro‑Interventionalist with Vascular Neurology Expertise is sought for the Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full‑time, with weekday hours and flexible scheduling to support complex cerebrovascular care.

The position requires BC/BE in Neurology/Neurosurgery with subspecialty in neuro-interventional surgery and vascular neurology, MD or DO, and Illinois license or pending. Excellent team and research opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• MD or DO with completed residency in Neurology/Neurosurgery or fellowship training in Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• Illinois medical license or pending.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures (endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, angiography).
• Lead evaluation and treatment planning for complex cerebrovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists and other specialists to provide integrated care.
• Participate in on-call rotation for neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage.
• Engage in clinical research with support from a research team.

• Manage and treat vascular neurological disorders.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage as needed, ensuring continuous patient care.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the fields of neuro-intervention and vascular neurology with support by a dedicated research team, as desired
• Join an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base that includes excellent Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, Neuro-Psychologists, and Neuro-Radiologists.
• Join one of the largest academic Neurology and Neurosurgery groups in the Chicago region.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical professionals within the Endeavor Health Neurosciences.
