Job summary

Preferred Vascular Group is seeking an Interventional Nephrologist to join our multi-site vascular team in the Atlanta market. You will provide comprehensive vascular access care for CKD/ESRD patients in a state‑of‑the‑art outpatient setting and collaborate with nephrology and dialysis partners to optimize outcomes.

The role involves performing angioplasty, thrombectomy, stent placement, catheter exchanges, and fistulograms, while maintaining arteriovenous fistulas and grafts and educating

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship.
• Interventional Nephrology training is preferred.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Nephrology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with CKD/ESRD requiring vascular access interventions.
• Perform minimally invasive procedures (angioplasty, thrombectomy, stent placement, catheter exchanges, fistulograms).
• Maintain AV fistulas and grafts for optimal dialysis access function.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis centers, and surgeons to coordinate care.
