Job summary

Ambu's South Bend outpatient vascular center is seeking an Interventional Nephrologist for a full-time, outpatient-focused role with no call and no weekends, delivering a strong work-life balance in a well-established ASC setting.

The position concentrates on ESRD-related vascular interventions, including venography and angiography, arterial access, dialysis access angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, catheter placement and exchange, and related embolization procedures, with Monday–Friday clinic

Qualifications

• Experience in ESRD-related vascular interventions.
• Outpatient-focused practice with no on-call requirements.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multispecialty ASC setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venography and angiography for AVF/AVG.
• Access arteries and place selective catheters.
• Dialysis access angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, thrombolysis.
• Dialysis catheter placement, exchange, and repair.
• Infusion thrombolysis and vascular embolization.
• Pursue pAVF and PD catheter placement as feasible.

This is a full-time, outpatient-focused opportunity with no call and no weekends, offering an exceptional work-life balance.

Clinical Scope

Primary focus on ESRD-related vascular interventions, including:

Venography & angiography (AVF/AVG)
Arterial access and selective catheter placement
Dialysis access angioplasty, stenting
Thrombectomy, thrombolysis
Dialysis catheter placement, exchange, and repair
Infusion thrombolysis and vascular embolization

Additional Procedures May Include:

Percutaneous AVF (pAVF)
Port placement
Peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter placement
