Aufgaben

• Utilizes AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements and establish rapport.
• Instructs patients and families regarding the test and assesses tolerance for the exam.
• Prepares patient or area for interventional procedures by positioning and optimizing equipment exposure factors.
• Adheres to safety, infection-control, drug and radiation policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment operation.
• Maintains imaging records in the department’s system per policies and standards.
• Supports leadership in maintaining policies, procedures and records for regulatory bodies (OSHA, TJC, TDH, ACR).
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
