Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. seeks a Special Procedures Technologist to perform complex radiology angiographic and interventional procedures in a high-standard, autonomous role, adhering to medical, legal, and imaging protocols.

You will ensure precise patient positioning, operate advanced imaging equipment, assist physicians, and document findings using PACS and ICVS, collaborating with medical staff and maintaining composure under pressure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology or CVT program.
• Active NJ Certified X-Ray Technologist license, ARRT registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred: RCIS certification, EKG certification, and experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and team collaboration abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety during contrast media administration
• Operate fluoroscopy, diagnostic tools, and computers for accurate imaging
• Assist physicians with angiographic and interventional procedures, including instrument handling
• Set up sterile trays, maintain aseptic techniques, and manage equipment calibration and troubleshooting
• Monitor patient condition, interpret equipment readings, and communicate findings promptly
• Accurately document images and retrieve historical data as needed
• Follow procedural protocols and collaborate effectively within invasive environments
• Demonstrate initiative, multitask efficiently, and work under time-sensitive conditions
