Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support cath lab procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for an imaging professional with hands-on experience and a strong patient-care mindset.

You will work with advanced imaging equipment, assist physicians during cardiac procedures, maintain sterile technique and documentation, and respond to emergencies as part of a dedicated interventional team.

Qualifications

• Certified and registered as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credentials.
• Hands-on experience with imaging equipment and cath lab procedures.
• Proficient in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Thorough understanding of radiation safety and sterile techniques.
• Strong ability to remain calm and focused under pressure in acute care settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations and related interventional procedures.
• Assist the healthcare team with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery during cath lab procedures.
• Ensure a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control protocols.
• Accurately document patient data, procedure details, and related imaging information.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation during procedures.
• Respond promptly in emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure patient safety.
