Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks an Interventional Cardio/Angio Technologist to support cardiologists and radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures within Interventional Radiology and the Cath lab.

The role involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during complex neurovascular and vascular procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree in Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program
• ARRT Registry or RCIS certification (or eligible), with certification obtained within 90 days if eligible
• Current healthcare provider CPR and ACLS certifications
• Preferably with at least two years of related clinical experience
• Previous experience in cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, or electrophysiology is advantageous
• Bi-annual 24 CME credits and mandatory AIDS education

Responsibilities

• Assist in invasive vascular and neurovascular procedures
• Provide patient care with organization, multitasking, and compassion
• Ensure safety and efficiency during procedures
