Job summary

Frederick Health Hospital seeks an Invasive Special Procedures Technologist to support invasive angiographic and interventional procedures. The role requires strong radiographic knowledge and the ability to assist physicians, monitor ECG/hemodynamics, and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include image transmission to PACS, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with Cardiologists. Certification and residency options are noted, with a focus on quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT-R certification; CV/CI preferred.
• 1 year experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist; 2 years as an Invasive Special Procedures Technologist or completing FH residency.
• Proficient in using radiographic, cardiac, and peripheral vascular imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists during invasive angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Perform patient positioning and select technical factors.
• Monitor ECG and hemodynamic parameters.
• Transmit images to PACS for interpretation and record.
