Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an Invasive Special Procedures Technologist to assist Cardiologists during invasive angiographic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. You will use radiographic equipment and monitor patient vitals under physician guidance.

The role requires knowledge of PACS/HIS/RIS systems, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists during invasive angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Perform proper patient positioning and select proper technical factors.
• Monitor ECG and hemodynamic parameters.
• Transmit images to PACS for interpretation and record.
• Obtain optimal images to aid diagnosis.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workspace.
• Adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
