Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions seeks a Special Procedures Technologist to perform cardiac and vascular imaging and assist with interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab. You will operate imaging equipment, position patients, and support physicians during procedures.

The role requires an RT license and CPR/BLS certification, with preferred Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience. Strong patient communication and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; related experience considered.
• Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience preferred.
• RT license in state of practice is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; facility-specific BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment for cardiac and vascular examinations.
• Position and immobilize patients according to protocols.
• Assist physicians with specialized and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Enter technical factors and operate fluoroscopy, cinefluorography, and contrast injection equipment.
• Monitor patient responses and alert physicians to changes.
• Provide patient explanations and discharge instructions.
• Monitor environmental and electrical safety factors.
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation according to program standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
