Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled Cath Lab technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves assisting physicians in cardiac, vascular, and EP procedures, including pacemaker and ICD implants, with emphasis on patient safety and precise data collection.

You will monitor hemodynamics, scrub and circulate, manage imaging equipment, and participate in inventory control.

Qualifications

3–5 years related work experience required.
IABP course completion.
Must be able to work in a 20lbs lead apron.
Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical specific to functional areas and related systems.
Cardiac Interventional Certificate within one year.
Knowledge of cath lab inventory.
Minimum 3 years recent related experience in Angiography (Special Procedures).

Responsibilities

Assist the cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon in diagnostic and invasive cardiac, vascular and EP procedures.
Assist in permanent pacemaker and ICD implants.
Manage imaging and lab equipment in interventional labs.
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and scrubbing duties.
Maintain inventory and restock as needed.
Mentor students and new staff in the Cath Lab.
Floats to Diagnostic Imaging as required.
Document and report essential hemodynamic measurements.
