The role involves maintaining inventory, mentoring staff, ensuring patient safety, and heavy involvement in documentation and cross-training, with required ARRT and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related work experience in angiography or cath lab.
• IABP course completion is required.
• Must be able to work in a 20lbs lead apron.
• Cardiac interventional certificate required within one year.
• Knowledge of cath lab inventory and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assists cardiologist/vascular surgeon in diagnostic and invasive cardiac, vascular and EP procedures.
• Supports permanent pacemaker and ICD implants and monitors radiation safety.
• Maintains inventory, stocks procedure rooms and collaborates with management.
• Records hemodynamic data, contributes to data analysis, and documents QC.
• Mentors students and new staff, participates in cross-training and CEU maintenance.
