Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles seeks a Cath Lab Technologist to join a busy interventional imaging team. You will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and pulmonary angiography, operate digital cine radiography, and provide hemodynamic monitoring and scrub support.

The position involves on-call duties with a 30‑minute response time and may require floating to other UCLA Cath Lab locations, reflecting a dynamic, high‑tech environment at an academic medical center.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• CRT license is required.
• CRT Fluoroscopic permit is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates are required.
• Graduation from an Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Ability to adapt to advancing technology.
• Ability to respond to referred services, physicians and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and pulmonary angiographic procedures.
• Operate digital cine radiographic equipment and provide hemodynamic monitoring and scrub assistance.
• Perform digital cine analysis and assist across cath lab procedures.
• Rotate within Interventional Cardiology to include Pediatric, Adult, Peripheral Vascular and Electrophysiology.
• On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.
• May float to UCLA Cath Lab locations including Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica & West Valley Medical Center.
