Valley Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to support a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This on-site, per diem role in the Los Angeles area involves imaging, monitoring, patient prep, and participation in on‑call rotations.

Requirements include a California CRT license, AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program, BLS, and on‑call availability. Experience in cath lab settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current California CRT license required; ARRT certification preferred.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• LA City Fire Card required at hire or within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Perform radiologic imaging for cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Assist with hemodynamic monitoring, sterile scrubbing, and first‑assist responsibilities during procedures.
• Prepare patients by verifying orders, obtaining histories, and ensuring proper consents.
• Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment while following radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Assist physicians during procedures using catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and thrombectomy devices.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout all procedures.
• Process and submit diagnostic images promptly for interpretation.
• Assist with patient transport as needed; maintain equipment, supplies, and rooms.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and departmental education.
• Cross-train staff, support new employee orientation, and participate in on-call rotation.
