Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in Interventional Cardiology to perform diagnostic imaging, assist with angiographic and invasive procedures, and ensure patient safety.

The role requires sterile technique, close collaboration with cardiology staff, and on-call availability. A Nebraska Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification are mandatory, with strong EMR/PACS/RIS familiarity and excellent patient care focus.

Qualifications

• Eligible for ARRT certification within 60 days of hire.
• Bachelor/Advanced degree preferred in radiologic sciences.
• Current Nebraska license in Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology exams in Interventional Cardiology and related procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedural rooms/equipment.
• Assist during invasive cardiac procedures with physician team.
• Operate radiology systems to document and bill exams.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, with proper identification and consent.
• Maintain high quality image quality and proper positioning.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by department policies.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards across radiology labs.
