Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive arena. The role supports staff during basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures.

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI credentials within 2 years and BLS certification. 1 year of related experience and clinical radiologic background are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• RCIS, RCES, CEPS or RT(R)CI certification must be obtained within the first 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience; graduation from invasive cardiovascular technology program or radiologic tech with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions with minimal assistance.
• Records hemodynamics for left/right heart catheterizations accurately.
• Maintains ECG setup and rhythm monitoring.
• Transports patients as needed and assists in room preparation.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and ensures supplies are adequate.
