Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist I to support physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive cath lab environment. You will assist with basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures, serving as a resource to staff.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within two years, BLS at hire, and ACLS within three months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years.
• BLS at hire and ACLS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with minimal assistance.
• Sets up equipment and maintains ECG and waveform monitoring.
• Transports patients and assists in room preparation for procedures.
• Ensures safety checks and has access to necessary supplies.
• Documents procedures and hemodynamics in the event log.
