We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our growing cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will have previous cardiac catheterization lab and/or electrophysiology experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technologist looking to join a collaborative cardiovascular team, with a recently enhanced and competitive pay scale.
Summary: As an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist I, you will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization/electrophysiology laboratory. You will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures by overseeing a variety of cardiac imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques to capture high-quality images of the heart during invasive cardiac interventions, as well as other direct patient care activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and stocking the lab before and after procedures, setting sterile instrument fields, and maintaining and monitoring aseptic techniques.
Education
Associate's Degree in Radiology or Cardiovascular preferred or Bachelor's Degree Radiology preferred
Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support [BLS] required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - preferred
NH Radiologic Technologist License if Rad Tech degree graduate OR
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist [RCIS] - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) after 1 year
Experience
Experience in an accredited cardiac catheterization laboratory or related field 0-1 year required
