Mass General Brigham is seeking an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist I to assist diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization/EP lab. You will work with physicians and staff to capture high-quality cardiac images while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
You will prepare the lab, perform pre/post-procedure assessments, and participate in room turnover and education activities.
We're offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. Starting Rate: $50.00/hr As an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist I, you will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization/electrophysiology laboratory. You will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other related procedures by overseeing a variety of cardiac imaging procedures utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to capture high-quality images of the heart during invasive cardiac interventions, along with other direct patient care activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and stocking the lab before and after procedures, setting sterile instrument fields, and maintaining and monitoring aseptic techniques.
Education Associate's degree Radiology required or bachelor's degree Radiology preferred Licenses and Certifications MA Radiologic Technologist license required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Registered Technologist [R.T.(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist [RCIS] - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred Experience Experience in an accredited EP laboratory or related field 0-1 year preferred.
